What is the PTE exam cost?

The recently revised PTE test fees in India in 2023 is ₹15,900. This fee comprises a base payment of ₹13,038 and an 18% tax of ₹2,862.

Payment of the PTE fee can be completed during the exam registration process, allowing candidates to do so until just two days before the test date. Any registrations made beyond this 2-day threshold will incur an additional charge of ₹695 rupees.

PTE Registration Fee

It's important for test takers to understand that PTE exam booking fees, PTE test fees, and PTE fees all pertain to the regular PTE Academic exam fee or PTE registration fee of Rs 15,900. However, if a candidate schedules their PTE exam within 48 hours of the test date, they must also cover the PTE Late Booking Fee.

PTE Exam Cancellation Fees Policy

For candidates who opt to withdraw from their PTE Academic test after making an online exam booking, the following refund rules apply:

1. Full Refund: Candidates are eligible for a full refund if they cancel their test up to 14 calendar days before the scheduled test date.
2. Partial Refund: If candidates cancel their test with less than 14 calendar days but at least seven calendar days before the test date, they will receive a 50% refund of the PTE test fee paid.
3. No Refund: No refunds will be provided to candidates who cancel their exam less than seven calendar days before the scheduled test date.

PTE Rescheduling Policy Updates

Effective from August 22, 2023, Pearson has introduced new guidelines for the rescheduling process:

1. Rescheduling with 14 Days or More Before the Test Date: If your PTE test is scheduled more than 14 days in advance, you can reschedule your test at no additional cost. Please note that you can reschedule a single test up to 6 times.
2. Rescheduling with Less than 14 Days Before the Test Date: If your test is less than 14 days away, rescheduling is no longer an option. In this case, you can cancel your test or book a new test date. Rescheduling will not be available within this timeframe.

Please be aware that the cancellation and reschedule policy does not cover changes to your PTE test date.

PTE Score Review Fees

If you are dissatisfied with your PTE exam scores, you can request a review of your test results.

A fee is applicable for the PTE rescore service. Nevertheless, should your overall PTE scores show improvement due to the review, the review fees will be reimbursed to you.

To commence the PTE exam score review process, you must make your request within 14 days of receiving your official test results. The fee for this service is $100 USD (equivalent to approximately 8,000 INR).
