Proof of Language Skills

The admission letter will mention no proof of language of instruction proficiency (B2 level or higher). Only Goethe Institut, Max Mueller Bhavan, ÖSD, IELTS, TOEFL, or Cambridge Assessment English certificates are acceptable. Acceptance of exemption letters and any online certificates is out of the question.

Academic Certificates

Original + 2 copies of all previous academic qualification certificates.

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Detailed CV outlining educational background and experience.

Proof of Financial Means

One of the following:

– Confirmation of a German/EU scholarship

– “Verpflichtungserklärung” (Formal obligation letter) from a sponsor in Germany

– Blocked account with €11,904 for the first year of study.

Blocked Account Information

Proof of financial sufficiency can be provided via a blocked bank account, which you may appoint at your end. The Federal Foreign Office website contains further details.
